A Walk In The Park

Such a lovely morning spent walking the dog and children in Cobtree Park. The various tree species make it such a wonderful place. #1 loved it, I think #2 did too. WW had a good time.

Three Stones

Recently, #1 has taken to placing some of our garden stones on to the window ledge. He always asks to place three stones on the ledge and then does so.

Michel Vaillant

I am officially a member of the Michel Vaillant club, I think.

I have the letter but I need to read it, carefully and slowly! I don’t really speak French. If I really struggle then I’ll ask some people at work to read it for me. We have many language specialists!

Wet or Not?

Lovely weather at the moment. The rest of the country is on flood alert! About 20 minutes to get home. Will I make it home dry? This is what’s coming for me:

Nearly home! Think I’m going to make it.

It’s raining now. Been home about 15 minutes. Job done.

This is the rain shower I just missed. It’s sunny now! You might like the double rainbow!

Peanut Butter

The picture should be quite evident. It started as a quarter of a slice of bread with peanut butter on it. Then #2 got hold of it!

Vixen

Just downloaded the eponymously titled Vixen from iTunes. I have four observations:

  • it is actually pretty good
  • for a band with a female singer it actually works, I’m not sure females can sing rock! (sorry, personal preference)
  • they sound more masculine than Vince Neal from Mötley Crüe
  • Poison look more feminine than Vixen, more a criticism of Poison than Vixen
