Lego 18 Model 75032

Many thanks to Penguin for this rather excellent Lego present that now gets placed in my cupboard of my things along with my Landspeeder [which was also a gift from Penguin] and DeLorean.

This model was constructed in the pleasant surrounds of the Beefeater in Godstone. It was a sunny day.

Reno, baby. That’s where I’d like to go one day, but not for the gambling but the air races. I love the idea of P51s racing 200ft off the deck. It would be a seriously sexy sport to watch. In the mean time I will satisfy my air racing passions with this little Lego racer.

Here’s a lovely DeLorean DMC-12 for all you Back To The Future fans. Really impressed with this little model. Great fun to put together and looks awesome too.

Here’s the latest addition to our Lego City collection. A cement mixer with working mixer and small lumps of cement. Lovely.

Angel

Here’s a picture of the guardian angel I have looing over my Christmas tree. We have a non-religious star at the top of the tree and this chap is standing to attention just below that. It’s nice to consider him overlooking the children and keeping an eye on them. Much like Obi-Wan in this comminication.

Number 1 got this for no particular reason. Possibly because he loves diggers – JCB yellow might be his favourite colour!

Made this for #1. He has given up dummies and posted them to Santa. When he had returned from the post box Santa had left him a Duplo set. Why the dummies had to go in an envelope when Santa was visiting anyway to drop the present off I don’t know! So here we have Mack, Lightning McQueen and the Sheriff from Cars. All superglued together as usual.

Made this for my son. Glued it with small amounts of superglue so hopefully he won’t pull it apart. He played with it in the bath. It isn’t very stable as a small amount of water will cause it to overturn.

Lego 1 Model 8092

The first in a series of posts about Lego models I make (with the kids in a few years time). I made many when I was younger and also some over the last decade.
So this one was a present from Penguin after the birth of my second son. I bought him a “new dad” present and he reciprocated. Nobody remembers the dads.
Anyway, Lego model 8092, Luke’s landspeeder from the Star Wars universe.
