Here’s a lovely twin boom sea plane. I think it looks gorgeous. It carried the jet-ski.

Here we go with a Star Wars Lego kit. Just a mini one really and not worth building. It seems that the Lego people have been designing “scenes” rather than models that can create story. As an example here’s the Death Of Darth Maul Lego scene.

It’s a mini Lego season at the moment. Here’s 76076:
The wings on the aeroplane sweep forwards for more manoeuvrability and lower landing speed.

Another in this mni-Lego season. Here we have Qui-Gon fighting Darth Maul in the Naboo power station (?). Obi-Wan awaits to avenge what is about to happen!

It’s a pretty neat little model.
On immediate inspection I think it looks a lot like the Lockheed S3 Viking, but I will soon be corrected if it doesn’t.

Vegetable Patch 2014
Planted the vegetables for this year. It’s a disgrace really as I don’t eat them and neither do the kids but I think it’s important for them to see stuff grow.
This year we have:
Sweetcorn
Onions
Carrots
Potatoes
The potatoes are in round pots to try and keep them contained:
We have the rest planted in the ground. The silver plant container has chestnut trees we planted last autumn.

This is a Lego Marvel Super Heroes model that #1 son got recently.

Reno, baby. That’s where I’d like to go one day, but not for the gambling but the air races. I love the idea of P51s racing 200ft off the deck. It would be a seriously sexy sport to watch. In the mean time I will satisfy my air racing passions with this little Lego racer.
